Fast

The MYIRO-9 reads 1,500 patches in just 4 minutes and 2,500 patches in just 7 minutes. Within one single scan users obtain data for M0, M1 and M2, conforming to ISO13655:2017 and offering improved certainty of colours with papers containing OBA.

Connected

The MYIRO-9 features both USB and Ethernet connectivity enabling you to easily share one MYIRO-9 between multiple printing machines.

The colour display shows step by step instructions to the operator, improving usability and minimising the opportunity for user error. 

Accurate

Like the groundbreaking FD-7, the MYIRO-9 features built-in wavelength calibration and temperature drift compensation, maximising day-to-day accuracy and reliability.

Users can obtain amazing results and achieve the best possible neutral grey balance and flawless skintones in even non-standard viewing environments. Konica Minolta’s Virtual Fluorescent Standard (VFS) allows the creation of precise custom profiles to compensate for the environment where the print will be viewed.

Versatile

The MYIRO-9 uses a free-format-function enabling it to measure virtually every chart that might be used to calibrate printers and create profiles.

Even quality control wedges, used for conformance testing of proof prints, etc., can be measured with the MYIRO-9 without cutting them from the print.

 
Virtual Aperture

The MYIRO-9 can measure a wide range of substrates which makes it the ideal instrument for proofing, production and Large Format Printing applications. Thanks to its Virtual Aperture ability, user can obtain accurate and fast measurement also on structured and uneven materials. Users can decide about 1 measurement per patch, 2x2, 3x3 and up to 4x4 measurements per patch!

Automatic Patch Detection

The integrated image scanner enables automatic patch detection, automatic chart alignment and can read QR codes for fully automated sheet and chart identification.

Full Automation

Measuring a large number of patches with MYIRO-9 is both fast and convenient. Users who need to measure dozens of sheets every day can benefit from using the automatic sheet feeder, a first for a print colour measurement instrument. 

This optional accessory enables up to 100 sheets to be pre-loaded and measured with minimal user input. Combined with the QR code reader function, the measurement results can be automatically linked to the printed sheet.

Trial, Free, Basic, QC Advanced & Advanced versions are sharing the same installer.

After a proper installation of the software you will be prompted to enter a license code. If you didn't buy or receive the license from your dealer you can try the software for 30 days and enter your license code later on. After the end of the trial period, users can still benefit from the features available in the Free edition.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the current installer (v1.5) does not contain any Display calibration software. If you are using v1.42 or older AND you need to use the Display calibration features please DO NOT update your existing installation with v1.5. Please contact us through the contact webform for any issue.
