MYIRO-1 Handheld Spectrophotometer

--- MYIRO-1 MEASURES WHAT YOU SEE ---

Since more than twenty years Graphic Arts users had to rely on either expensive but accurate or cheap but simple instruments.

It was like having only one eye.

The innovative MYIRO-1 system combines accuracy with a very attractive price. It captures the behaviour of your sample and outputs all the M-conditions you need in just one scan.

Wireless

MYIRO-1 cuts the cables ! Users can connect MYIRO-1 either by USB or by a wireless LAN connection. Connect your MYIRO-1 to your wifi access point and benefit from a cable-free user experience.

All-in-One

Thanks to Konica Minolta's VFS (Virtual Fluorescence Standard) technology, which was patented with the introduction of the FD-7, the MYIRO-1 allows M1, M0 and M2 to be measured with a single scan in accordance with the ISO13655:2017 measurement standard. Even non-standardized light spectrum can be imported and used as a custom light condition.

The user experience is also improved when measuring linearization, profiling and control wedges with the ruler, as MYIRO-1 supports scanning of patches in both directions thanks to intelligent scanning direction detection.

Accurate

Like the groundbreaking MYIRO-9, the MYIRO-1 features built-in wavelength calibration and temperature drift compensation to maximize accuracy and reliability in everyday use.

Monitor and Light

In the world of prepress and photography, where visual accuracy is of utmost importance, having a properly calibrated monitor is vital.

As professionals, we rely heavily on the accuracy of colors and the fidelity of images. A poorly calibrated monitor can lead to inaccurate color reproduction and subsequently impact our work quality and reputation.

Calibrating your monitor regularly is crucial, as the display's color performance can change over time. Factors such as aging, dust accumulation, and fluctuating environmental conditions can impact color accuracy. By developing a routine to calibrate your monitor, you can maintain accurate color representation and ensure consistent results in your professional work.

The MYIRO-1 can also be used to calibrate and profile your monitors wirelessly with any software that supports the device. Please check the compatibility list in Support/Compatibility menu.

The optional Illuminance Adapter combined with a compatible software allows the user to control ambient and viewing light to make a better monitor-to-print match.

basICColor display 6, the 6th generation of the leading monitor calibration and ICC profiling application, is included for free and has been dramatically improved in usability and functionality.

Pre-defined workflows can be used right from the start with a single mouse click. This covers most situations where monitor calibration is required. Parameters for special requirements can be configured with the integrated workflow editor. This makes basICColor display 6 the easiest to use and most professional software in its class.

The optional Illuminance Adapter with basICColor display 6 allows the user to control ambient and viewing light for a better monitor-to-print match.

It is integrated in MYIROtools and works with any MYIRO-1 without additional license.

Ambient Light Measurement

MYIRO-1 combined with a compatible software (Check our Compatible Software List) can check ambient light and viewing lights for conformity with the relevant standards. Depending on software, Color Temperature (°K), Illuminance (lx) and more information can be displayed and verified with every MYIRO-1 equipped with the optional Ambient Light Adapter.

Compatible viewing booths can be controlled automatically in order to achieve the same luminance as the calibrated monitor.

You can make the softproof and hardcopy proof look identical !

All optional accessories can be purchased through our usual partner network
